With post-weight loss body contouring surgery, Dr. Kevin Cook, MD can eliminate excess skin and fat left behind after weight loss to give you a tightened, toned, and rejuvenated figure.

Post-Weight Loss Surgery Procedure
The duration of your post-weight loss surgery will depend upon the number of procedures you choose. Some patients have all of their procedures performed at once, while others have the procedures divided among two or three visits. Dr. Cook will also make his recommendations for optimizing the outcome of the procedure. With Dr. Cook’s experience and expertise, post-weight loss surgery can rejuvenate your body for a leaner, firmer, more athletic appearance.
Recovery & Results
Your recovery time from post-weight loss surgery will also vary depending upon your customized treatment plan. As with most surgeries, you can expect some bruising and swelling in the treatment areas; however, post-operative discomfort can be managed with oral medication. For some patients, Dr. Cook may recommend wearing a compression garment or vest after surgery to help expedite the healing process. Many patients are able to return to work or their normal daily activities within two to three weeks.
Depending upon the extent of your surgery, strenuous exercise should be avoided for four to eight weeks.
Post-weight loss surgery can serve as the final step toward achieving the slimmer, firmer physique you have worked so hard to achieve!
